Place: Race will start and finish at Ginty Field, 49 Woodland Ave. Morristown.
Time: Race starts at 9:00. The course time limit is 3 hours. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Packet pickup: Saturday, October 17th, from 12:00-5:00pm at Fleet Feet of Morristown. The address is 31 South St. Morristown. ***NEW THIS YEAR*** You must have your bib number assignment ready and visible on your phone to pick up your packet. You will receive a text and email with your bib number on Friday October 16th. You CAN pick up for friends and family, just have them send you a screenshot of their bib number confirmation.
Packets will also be available race morning from 7:30-8:30 at the starting area. You will also have to know your bib number for race day packet pickup.
Parking: There is event parking at Ginty Pool, the municipal building across from Ginty Field, Woodland School, and the residential streets around Ginty Field.
Water Stations: There will be water stations at approximately every 2.5 miles. All stations will have water, Gatorade and HALLOWEEN CANDY!
Relay: There will also be a 2-person relay option! Each runner will do about half of the half marathon (about 6.55 miles). The first teammate will start with the rest of the half marathoners. The second teammate will wait in front of the Firehouse at Ginty Field (about 200 meters from the starting line) for the hand-off and then complete the rest of the half marathon. ***NEW THIS YEAR*** Relays will be timed with a wristband that the first runner will wear and then pass to the 2nd runner.
Awards: Prizes will be given to top 3 overall runners and top 3 in each 5 year age group. Special prizes will also be given out for the best Halloween costumes!
First place overall male and female will get a pair of Saucony Endorphin Speed 6 running shoes!
Pacers: There will be an amazing group of pacers with 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45 pace groups!
Time Limit: The course time limit is 3 hours. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Bag drop: This race will NOT have a bag drop.
Post Run Party: Fuel up after your run with free bananas, water, Columbia Inn pizza, and soft pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory! Atlantic Health will be providing post-run massages and Alpha Fit Club will host a post run stretch session!
Refunds: We now offer registration insurance when you register for the event. If you do not purchase this insurance we will absolutely not even consider a refund or deferral. Any emails requesting a refund will not responded to. If you would like to switch from the half marathon to the relay or vice versa, we would be happy to accommodate that.
